The Sailor 6280 / 6281 is an IMO-compliant Class A Automatic Identification System (AIS) designed to deliver reliable position reporting. Operating as part of the vessel's bridge electronics, it continuously transmits ship identification, coordinates, speed, and heading to surrounding craft.

The system features a touchscreen control unit that displays active targets and enables configuration. Its robust, modular design simplifies installation and interfaces with radar, ECDIS, and VDR systems.
