The Danelec ECDIS DM-800 is a fully type-approved Electronic Chart Display and Information System. Engineered to meet the strict IMO carriage requirements, it features a dual-chart engine that displays official S-57/S-63 ENC, C-MAP, and AVCS charts side-by-side. It serves as a direct, paperless navigation replacement under SOLAS mandates.

The DM-800 incorporates Danelec's unique SWAP (Shared Wear-out Parts) technology, which stores system configuration and licenses on a hot-swappable module, enabling rapid on-board servicing and backup preservation. Operating on a secure fanless Linux OS, it minimizes the risk of viruses and malware.
