The Koden Electronics MDC-5500 Series Marine Radar is a high-performance, professional-grade radar system featuring a 15-inch high-resolution XGA color LCD display. Engineered for merchant fleets, tugs, offshore support, fishing vessels, and patrol boats, this series offers output power configurations ranging from 4 kW up to 25 kW to ensure exceptional target separation and long-range visibility in all weather states.

At the core of the MDC-5500 is a high-speed sampling engine that delivers clear, high-contrast radar echoes at short ranges, while the built-in Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA) tracking tracks up to 100 targets simultaneously. It includes a standard AIS interface supporting up to 1,000 targets, and supports C-Map NT MAX chart overlays, superimposing vital chart information directly onto the radar screen for superior situational awareness.
