The Lars Thrane LT-3100S is a GMDSS-approved maritime satellite communications terminal operating on the Iridium network. Delivering true global pole-to-pole coverage, this system serves as a modern, reliable replacement for traditional GMDSS consoles, incorporating voice, SMS, data, and emergency distress alerting.
The LT-3100S consists of a compact control unit, a robust handset, and a single-cable high-performance antenna dome. It is fully compliant with IMO MSC.434(98) guidelines for satellite GMDSS services.
