The Danelec DM-100 Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) is a high-availability marine black-box system designed to collect, record, and protect crucial navigation, radar, audio, and bridge telemetry data. It is fully compliant with the latest IMO performance standard MSC.333(90) and IEC 61996-1 Ed. 2.
The modular system utilizes Danelec's SWAP technology, allowing configuration files to be stored on an external module for fast swaps during hardware maintenance. It includes a fixed protective capsule and a float-free capsule, both recording up to 48 hours of voyage data.
